What Potential LP's Look Like: Shoplifting

If you observe your surroundings, then LP's will stick out like they have a giant blinking arrow over their head. If someone doesn't fit in quite right or if they seem to be following you, then watch out.

1. Guys in "girls" stores and girls in "guys" stores. If there is a guy hanging around you in Vict0ri@'s Secret or somewhere similar, always suspect him as an LP. If a girl is seemingly following you in H0me Dep0t or somewhere similar, then suspect her as an LP. I understand that people have different interests, and not everyone who sticks out is an LP, but LP's tend to stand out if the store didn't think through their plans to prevent theft.

2. If you think you are being followed, go in a dressing room. Leave something little like a bra or shirt. Leave the dressing room, and in a minute or two go back to "retrieve the item." Is someone else rushing to get in there? Could be an LP.

3. If you are concealing in a dressing room, be aware if someone goes in the stall right next to your own, especially if it's not very busy. If there is a gap under the walls, check their feet. Are they moving around, or are they just standing/sitting there? If they aren't moving or they are trying on the same shirt for 10 minutes, then try to get a glimpse of their face or at least remember their shoes. If the same person is lurking around you somewhere else, then it could be an LP.

4. Go to a random section of the store. Shuffle through a stack of clothes, and fold a few as if you concealed something in them. Then watch out of the corner of your eye as you walk away. Does someone immediately go up and dig through the exact same pile that you had just looked at? Could be an LP.

5. Do they get in line behind you? Not just a random person, but someone who has been checking your dressing room, following you, or constantly on their phone watching you? Could be an LP.

This could save you from arrest, a ride in the back of a cop car, fines, probation, community service, and court fees.
